Sakay Transport Service Cooperative was conceptualized in 2019 whose main objective was to organize the sector of riders.

It started with 23 members and a capital of PHP 312,500.00.

It was issued with a Certificate of Registration by the Cooperative Development Authority on August 31, 2020.

On December 2020, Sakay Coop was registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenues (BIR).
